Help! I have PMS

PMS is the name given to unpleasant, sometimes debilitating symptoms that occur in the lead up to a womans period, the post-ovulatory phase of her menstrual cycle. PMS symptoms can start between 4-14 days before a menstrual period and usually resolve when the period begins, or not long after. Up to 80% of menstruating women experience one or more PMS symptoms each month.


PMS Symptoms:


Symptoms of PMS can include:

  • Mood swings

  • Irritability

  • Headaches

  • Fatigue

  • Bloating

  • Breast tenderness or swelling Cramping, anxiety, depression, poor concentration, clumsiness, weepiness, insomnia, aggression, joint and muscle pain.


The intensity of PMS symptoms varies from woman to woman, but most report that the mental-emotional symptoms are far more disruptive than the physical symptoms.

Homeopathic remedies are fantastic at correcting underlying imbalances that lead to PMS symptoms. Lycopodium

Key Symptoms: Weeping before the period. Lack of confidence. Anxiety about new things. Feelings of helplessness. Avoids responsibilities. Digestive disturbances – bloating and flatulence. Craving for sweets.
